Key Features

  • Anti-slippery effect: 4 lines of knobs firmly bound on the surface of balloon increase significantly anti-slippery effect
  • High Pin-Hole Resistance:   special polymer processing provides +30% more resistance to puncture compared to peers
  • High RBP: RBP of 22 atm

Indications

  • Intra-stent Restenosis: the 4 lines of knobs on the GRIP anchor the balloon to the lesion during balloon inflation, reducing the risk of dissection at the stent margins. This is particularly appropriate in intra-stent restenosis where surface is slippery due to hyperplastic tissue.
  • Post-Stent Dilation: stent underexpansion remains an important cause of stent thrombosis and stent restenosis.
  • Using the GRIP™, physicians can post-dilate the underexpanded stent in the most effective way, optimizing the expansion of the stent as well as the crushing of the remaining plaque between the struts of the stent.
  • Heavily calcified lesions: the GRIP™ is made of a strong synthetic material that can treat heavily calcified lesions while avoiding the potential danger of using metal blades to cut through the plaque.
